I am an economist with research interests in retail banking and microfinance. I work as Assistant Professor at the Finance Department at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. I am a Candidate Fellow at Tinbergen Institute.

I apply industrial organization methods to analyze the effects of innovation and regulatory changes on financial access across geographic markets and competition.
